Information We Collect

We do not require account creation or collect personal information directly. When you visit our site, we may automatically collect:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Browser type and device information
• Referring website
• IP address (anonymized)

Cookies

We use two categories of cookies. We never use cookies for advertising or retargeting.

Essential cookies (always on)

These cookies are required for the site to function. They are not toggleable and do not require your consent under GDPR Article 5(3):

• pcm-region — stores the country mapping (e.g. Finland → Amazon DE) so you see the correct regional price. Lifetime: 1 year.
• pcm-consent — stores your cookie choices from this banner. Lifetime: 6 months.
• localStorage (build wizard, compare tray) — saves an in-progress PC build or items you add to the compare tray, so you don't lose your selections when you reload. Cleared when you clear browser data.

Analytics cookies (opt-in only)

These cookies are set only if you click Accept all or enable the analytics toggle in the consent banner. They help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it:

• Google Analytics 4 (_ga, _ga_*) — anonymized usage measurement. Runs in Google Consent Mode v2 with IP anonymization. Lifetime: up to 2 years.
• Vercel Analytics — aggregated page-view and performance measurement. Self-gated to production; does not load on reject.

We also use Vercel Speed Insights, which reports anonymized Core Web Vitals via a beacon with no cookies or stable identifier (legitimate-interest processing under GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

Third-Party Services

Our site may use the following third-party services:

• Amazon Associates — When you click affiliate links and make purchases on Amazon, we earn a commission. Amazon may set cookies to track referrals. See Amazon's Privacy Notice.
• Supabase — Our database provider. No personal user data is stored.

Data Retention

We do not store personal data. Comparison selections are stored locally in your browser and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data.

Your Rights
